So, when I make a characters story and such, I like to make things up that are still, well believable, ya know?
Anyway, here's a rather brief (kinda 
"[...]Then, for the last month of her time as a hollow, Vasilissa raised in power to a Deriva Lorde (drift lord), a small group of Lorde whom were much too strong to be Adjuchas, but just short of becoming Vasto Lorde. This group was rare, but did happen.
One became a Deriva Lorde when winning a match between a stronger Adjuchas, but barley surviving. It is a critical stage in a Hollows life, where everything is much more sensitive and one's hollow mask is extremely fragile. All Vasto Lorde go through this stage, if only for a minute or two, sometimes even only moments, though for some, this stage lasts quite a while.
Because she was made into an Arrancar while she was in the Deriva Lorde state, Vasilissa suffered from Frontal Lobe brain damage, causing her to lose usage of her Emotions.
Because of this, Aizen assigned her to Szayel Aporro Grantz and ordered him to correct her. While doing so, Szayel was impressed by her fighting skills, thinking that one as damaged as she shouldn't be able to even move. With this, he decided that she would be one of his fraccion. He was fascinated with the many possible experiments that he could do."
