I read this earlier. The comic is right there in my Sonic stack. It's incredible to think that it's been drawn by you, after looking at your work for almost 10 years.

I mean, her style is cute and rounded, and the line work is all jagged and edgyΒ

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say "dumbed down" but I do think I know what you mean by "rough." I think it comes down to Terry Austin using pens as opposed to a brush. I think. I could be totally wrong. Rather than using smooth, flowy lines, he uses smaller, more angular lines. He's gotten way better about this, though, as I remember previous issues where every curve was practically a 45 degree angle. Nowadays it's very subtle. Anyways, I could talk about other Archie inkers who use smoother strokes, but instead I'll commend Austin for adding better contrast to the rocks and adding in little details like dust. He added just enough details to spice things up, but not so much as to overpower the original character of the pencils. Too bad the speech bubbles covered most of it XD

You should make the tail fin and dorsal fin a little sharper in the next appearances.Β Otherwise he looks more like a Cetacean than a shark.Β Also, you should have just made him a dolphin to begin with IMO.
But I guess that's nitpicky isn't it?

Nah you're right about the tail, I tried fixing it in the second issue I did but eh. If I ever draw him again, I'll get it right.
Also, I had absolutely no say in what species he was in the first place. :/ I thought he was fine as a shark idk.

Eh, it just makes no sense, but when did sonic ever have to make any sense?
I would probably just like throw it out there in a meeting that Razor should look as sharp as possible, where as any whale/dolphin characters should look round in contrast.
