This is very well done. Definitely an improvement over the old version. The ones are very nice and it doesn't have the overdone HDR look. And I would hope you're still learning! If ever I stopped learning, I would be bored out of my mind!

OH of course i´m still learning and also hope i´ll always do . I also like HDRs ( i just bought a software for that last week ) . There are so many , sometimes good and sometimes not so good , ways to edit pictures . However most important for me that i have fun doing it Thank you very much , i´m glad that you like it

Absolutely. The best programs I have used for HDR processing are either Photomatix (which does the compositon from individually metered shots), or there is a Photoshop filter plug-in from Google's NikCollection called "HDR Effex" which works on any picture. Especially with RAW images, there should be enough information to get some good results here and there.

Photomatix was the one i bought . With some photos it works great , with other i got better results with a single RAW and Photoshop

Yeah, it's allways a give and take with photos. I try not to do too much processing, but especially with nature photography, you don't always have a time to set everything up 100%. Particularly when trying to get pictures of birds, squirrels or other fast moving creatures!

For me it is part of creating a picture to edit my photos . I see nothing bad in using my PC to get more out of my photos . Of course i am able to make good photos out of cam , but why not try to get more out of it when you got the posibilities . Sometimes my pictures are a bit overdone maybe , but even than i think it´s okay when i like the result

I agree, as long as you don't completely alter the nature of the photo (e.g. remove entire elements, unless distracting), I don't see why not. I've also taken several pictures of the same scene before, and then used the median function of Photoshop to create a composite that would remove (for example) the people (since they were in different positions in different photos, they could be removed without losing information). Sometimes taking a photo of an event is fine, that's journalism, but sometimes anything that doesn't belong in a nature photo (incl. people) don't need to be there. Other adaptions like color balance, contrast, brightness etc. are also perfectly fine. I've also adjusted the background bluring before. Sometimes you have to be quick and don't have the time to fine tune all the settings on your camera. I don't see anything wrong with that either.

Besides, if all the professional photographers that take pictures of models and celebrities can brush and post process them to look way better, fitter and younger than they are, I can adjust a few inconsistencies in a photo I took here and there!

Oh i never change anything at the picture or the scenery , i only modify the lights sometimes the colors . i try to bring light in to dark areas and give the sky more shape . With the pictures of celebrities i agree with you ... we would be all very disapointed to see them unphotoshoped But not the best photographer can make a photo with a perfect sky and not shadows in the foreground ... not even the human eye is able to ... so it is great that we are able to make pictures today with these posibilities

I absolutely agree! We all have a vision of how something looks best, or of how we see something, and aiding a little to get there, is no big deal!

Oh it is so very beautiful!! On my laptop screen depending on the angle I look at it, it's either darker or lighter....like a time lapse of the increasing morning light. Love it!  Looks a lot like views around my home that I could get, if I wasn't so wimpy about the cold!!

Thank you !!! Cool i didn´t notice the dark or light effect before  It will be far away from your home but i guess there are many places like this at this world ... we just have to take the time to see them . Oh and as my father always said " it´s only a question of good warm clothes "

He should have added "and good warm BOOTS," which I don't have...ought to have me a nice pair of knee high ski boots or some such...then I could go out at sunrise even in snow, and capture beautiful scenes similar to this one... But yes, adjust your screen angle, move your head a little up or down, and there is an effect that is subtle but unique, I think...
