no, pero creo que en el futuro si, voy a meterme en un clase con cheeks mas bien. Bobby chiu hace podcasts interactivos y eso es el resultado de las charlas que el mae hace.

Wow! This is great bro. When I saw the thumbnail I actually thought it was one of Bobby's. Would you mind divulging what brushes and technique you used for this?
Thanks,
Marco

Thanks, Marco. As for technique, I didn't really use any, I mean, I use a normal round brush with OPACITY lowered somewhere at 44 and FLOW at 44-50 (I think) and started stroking like a mad man. I first blocked the whole image with a big sized brush, then went into detail by lowering the brush size and stroked again in small patches of fur. I did this using a wacom with the Shape Dymanics option checked which makes life easier for this kind of job.
I used a whiter color for the parts of it's fur where the light touched. The thing I did was to start with as few colors as possible, that way you don't go nuts with all the palette.
I wish I have this on layers, but I actually painted it all in just 1 :S . Hope I helped, it was just a simple brush work.

Thanks for the details man, I really appreciate it. The thing I always have trouble with is determining what brush to start with. I've got one of the Ryan Church videos and he uses the pen tool in Painter quite a bit.

Yeah, that's the same problem I have, I don't really know what to use, but the common tool people uses is the hard round brush, or at least I do, haha. I don't bother to use others unless it is specific like texturing a brick wall for example or doing clouds, or drawing leaves. I want to get on to painter, but meh, I'm starting to get the hang on photoshop.
Glad it helped.

maybe the dangerous part comes when he opens his enormous mouth and displays a maw full of shark-like teeth?

Cute, in an ugly sort of way. Like how my friend's 15 year old asthmatic cat is so ugly she's cute.
