Actually the reason he killed himself is because he feared that the world's governments would force him to make more as weapons of mass destruction. He said that the oxygen destroyer was as powerful as a nuclear bomb.

I'm a huge super nerd when it comes anything Godzilla/Kaiju, but I never understood how did the Oxygen Destroyer work? Aside from it's obvious name.

I a huge fan of Godzilla too, but don't worry because I don't understand how the Oxygen Destroyer works either. So we're both in the same boat, but we do know that the Oxygen Destroyer did end creating something just as worse.

He probably would have been devastated. Knowing a weapon he should have never created in the first place ended up creating a monster that's just as powerful as Godzilla.

No. Also Godzilla may have been seen as a hero in the showa series of movies, but the truth is Godzilla is neither a hero or a villain. He's actually an animal who fights anything he sees as a threat or something that just annoys him (aka the army).

What do you think they're doing with the Legendary Universe?? Would you like to see Old Kaiju redesigned in the Legendary style or would you like to see new monsters, like the Muto?? Personally if you remember the Zilla animated series, all the Kaiju were so different and unique, they weren't necessarily classics but they were cool.

I'd like to see a bit of both actually because I do want a few new monsters, but I want to see some of the old kaiju return redesigned by Legendary because simply it wouldn't be a true Godzilla movie seriously without the classics. And yes I do remember The Zilla animated series and I liked it a lot. Was definitely better than the shit we got in 1998.

It's amazing the Cartoon was better received than the movie, I guess I call it the Pacific Rim effect, success in seeing Monsters and/or robots Brawl. I love Zilla, but he's no Godzilla, I think most people were mad cause it felt like false advertising, promising Godzilla, but what we got was a different monster. I think it also sealed everyone's hate when Zilla got killed by missles when Godzilla is supposed to be indestructible. I liked how GMK said The US mistaked him for Godzilla. If you could do a Zilla standalone movie as his own monster not Goji how would you go about it, compared to, 98??

I've always wanted to see Godzilla get a mate. It would've made sense when introducing Minilla. I've also had this idea for a test for a male Godzilla to take in order to mate with the female. The male must fight and defeat, or at least put up a fight in order to prove his determination to starting a family. The females would be bigger and more aggressive than the males, so this would make an epic fight.Β

I do have a fanfic where a genetically created female of Godzilla's species shows up. This kind of reminds me of them. I called her Shezilla.
