is this, by chance, based off of the big fat ugly monsters from silent hill 3? they were called cancer-somethings; i don't really recall. they definately had a similar distortion.

the theme is interesting and it looks to me as if you're poking fun at a horrible situation to ease the seriousness of it....well thats what I see in the facial expression of your creation, i could be wrong...amazing work!!

When a macbre surreal painting has me looking away and then coming back too it over and over again, the ambivolence. Because I love the challange of understanding my inner disturbances. Why does it effect me? What part of myself to I need to explore more? This is what makes me love your art so much.

This is beautifully done. Your explanation of his obliviousness to his state, stupidly grinning as though he is "winning the game of life" while his face rots off, make perfect sense when looking at the piece. As an american, I can say that you are spot on (i.e. quite accurate) with the attitude. Obviously, we aren't all like that (just like the population of any given country, there are variations in attitudes and beliefs)...I guess what I'm trying to say is we aren't ALL assholes

many people have given me different ideas about it and they are all valid with this kind of surrealism, i think. my idea though, was that he is a fool. the earth is barren behind him, chemtrails in the sky, cancer hole in his face from god knows what chemicals in the water and the coneheaded fool thinks he is winning the game of life, sticking his tongue out at you, the viewer. kinda like americans

I don't know if it's the good interpretation, but, when I see this drawing I think cancer is making fun of the person that he's killing (as if he said "you can't destroy me hahaha"), and he is ugly like that terrible illness.
