I took a screencap I liked from the show and tried making into my own image. In this particular scene, Wheeler is watching two men semi-fight over a girl. He comments, "Can you imagine guys acting so dumb over a girl?" to which Linka chuckles and replies sarcastically, "Oh, nyet."Related content

Same here actually. Linka was always my favorite, probably helps that one of my favorite actresses Kath Soucie played her (she's the whole reason why my OC Sasha is Russian

Ikr? It doesn't hurt that she's a Tsundere (something I admittedly like in characters) and she had a lot of heart (sorry Ma-Ti) even though she was something of a defeatist (I'm kinda like that though)

I never cared much for him (Nostalgia Critics version of him was hilarious though but his death made me cry..yeah I cried, like in the ending to Johnny Sokko where Giant Robo grabbed Guillotine and flew into space and rammed into a meteor and blew up. Poor Johnny..) but his ring was powerful yet aside from a few instances, he never used the Heart ring that much(the comic did more with it ironically..)
Yeah, Wheeler's something of a dick to be honest, no wonder Linka tried to hide her feelings for him

But yeah Another thing I've noticed that I'm one of the few people around here who thinks Linka is hotter than Gi (I know they aren't real but they aren't on TvTropes Memetic Sex Godess label on the YMMV Captain Planet section for nothing, but maybe because I'm a male...) for whatever reason. Sure, Gi is pretty (her actress is more so actually) but for me, the Blonde Soviet chick is more sexy with DAT ACCENT (I'm so weird aren't I but aren't we all sort of that way?

LOL I was the EXACT same way! That was so long ago, though -- I remember watching them on CP like, 13 years ago. I used to know them all by heart, since CN keeps re-airing the episodes, and I also felt super down when no W/L interaction was seen in one episode.
I also distinctly remember logging online some 10 years back, trying to look for fics or some semblance of fanwork, since I was into the anime fandom. Sadly, there weren't any. It's nice to see things have changed!

I haven't watched this show in ages but it was because of Linka that I say "nyet" ever so often even now. I wish that their relationship had a better chance of developing. I was happy when they were married but that was another one of Wheeler's nightmares. Out of everyone, Wheeler seemed to have either the strangest experiences or one heck of a sub-conscious.
