So, I've been studying many different things and people, and I decided to try April again, this time with no references in hopes that she would come out looking more unique, and I think this is the look I want to go with for her. I even went with a slight color change, with her blouse going from white to plae yellow. I like that much better.I'll eventually get more creative with my backgrounds. Clouds are nice, and I always picture her in the village, but with Polly, I plan on doing a tavern scene. Hey, at least I did a sunset sort of sky this time.
I also have a lot of trouble keeping my eyes symmetrical.
If I had been smart like I usually am, I'd have fixed that in the sketch digitally before I began inking. Next time!

The color change was a happy mistake. I hadn't filled in her blouse yet, so the color of the sky was coming through, and I thought the pale yellow looked waaaay better than white.

I do like this one better. She seems to have more of a personality in this picture. And even though this one isn't heavily referenced like the other picture, it still keeps that Disney feel

She's so pretty! Most definitely an improvement over your last version.
I have problems keeping eyes symmetrical too. 
I think the color of her shirt is better in this one, it's a bit more of a subtle color than stark white.
I also love the splash of color that the purple ponytail holder brings to the picture. It's vibrant, but not too much so to where it's the only thing that catches your eye.
Overall this is a very cute and colorful piece. It contains a very 'Disney' vibe, without feeling too derivative of any Disney property in particular.

This time, she feels more like mine. Last time, she just came off as a cheap Belle knock-off. I mean, yes, I learned some things using that heavy of a reference, but the end result didn't even feel like my own. I also wanted her to be much younger, almost even childlike, and I think I've done that here.
