Description
My sister and I hiked up the side of a mountain at Shasta Lake just to take this picture. Plus, she needed the exercise and I needed the excuse to leave my dad.Entered in to Bare Your Soul's Color Contest!

It's hard to believe such amazing places exist. Where I live, almost every body of water is murky and littered upon. What remains of the landscape is a messy arrangement of ugly houses, ranging from subtle colors to horrible bright ones. A view like this is really nice.

The lakes, well this lake in particular, is kept pretty clean. The waterfall you see is actually quite a bit of a climb from the actual lake itself, and California has been in a two year drought, so 51% of the water is gone from the lake. The water from the waterfall was so much colder than the lake water!
