Drink the soda to about 1/4 full, then sit it how you see in the photograph. if it tries to tip over, it's too light, add some water to it. if it tries to stand back up, its too heavy, drink a little more

It's actually sitting just like that. Not being held up and no camera tricks. It's drank to about 1/4th left, and you tilt it and it will stay.
