I drew this from reference. Sadly, I'm not very good at drawing from memory. 
I'll try to draw him from memory one day.

And yes, I know drawing from memory is hard.
I also started out drawing by drawing from reference.
And, if you'd like to start drawing from memory,
start watching speedpaint vids or tutorials and such.
That's what I did and it really helped me ^^
You do have to be patient though..
But you know, practice makes perfect.
