Oh, I just love the vastness of this chamber! The height of the composition enhances the grandeur.
If I might make a small suggestion, it is to perhaps consider the focal point. The first place my eye goes to is the juncture of the bride's train and the green part of her dress, because of the beautiful detail and color contrast. I think it might make more sense to draw attention to the heads of the central couple first. The bride's head has some eye pull because of the value contrast of her hair against the pale bg, but for me at least, the dress takes visual precedence because of the fine detail. It takes me some effort to find the bride's face because the pale skin of her face merges with the background.
Anyway, that's just my 2 cts. Another viewer might feel differently.
Other than that, gorgeous piece!

Thank you! I spent most of the time on the environment and trying to get the colors right... and then seeing how much detail I could add. It was a fun exercise!
Haha... yeah, I didn't really have a particular focal point in mind with this one (which probably would have made it a lot better). I'll definitely consider that more in the future! And you're right.... I should definitely add some more contrast around her face (and add more detail there too- I think I had tried pulling the eye towards that general area with the candles, but it ended up backfiring and washing out their faces). Thanks for noticing that, I can't believe I didn't.
Thank you so much again! : D

Aww, thank you! I wish I was as good as you with character design and anatomy! I'm taking a figure drawing class this year so that should help... but for now I'm going to squee over your drawings and attempt to learn your ways.

You did a great job here. The lighting. The colors. The perspective. The details. This is a beautiful composition and I could definitely learn a thing or two from you about backgrounds.

Hnnngh me too! Lighting is one of my weaker points, but I'm always trying to work on it, haha.
The color scheme character designs in your gallery are really cool!

I love the painterly feel, it's almost like the romantic fade-out at the end of an old movie. It's got an air of elegance to it that is delightful!

The viewer's angle is great in this piece! I like how we're looking down on the action with that chandelier in view - it's a very dramatic effect.

Thanks! I'm still trying to futz around and figure out what the heck the world is supposed to look like (still not quite there yet though, it needs to be more futuristic >: ( ), so I designed it with the intent of the environment as a pretty big focus. Environments are kind of a pain in the butt, but I'm getting used to them slowly but surely! It seems like everyone is digging that chandelier, I'll keep that in mind for the future, ohoho.
Thanks again!
