Eshe, my phoenix *Elysian-Academy character. Coloring her is difficult for various reasons, but it's nice in the end 'cause she's so shiny.

Eshe: Ha- what?! *wasn't expecting to be tackled* Who? ...Ah! Lio!! *pleasantly surprised* It, it really has been a while! How are you? Have you been faring well? Ah... and I have been doing fine. And... of course, sunsets allow us to see the golden splendor of the sun in all its glory, although I enjoy sunrise even more.

It's great to hear that you've been doing well. What have you been up to, lately? Mmm... I always have enjoyed the colors of either sunset or sunrise, but the rising sun brings me to life every day. So I love it~

I first painted the fire shape in just yellow, then added some darker, reddish spots. Then I made an addition layer over that, and outlined the fire in light orange. Then I airbrushed over the whole thing with light orange, softened the edges with a soft eraser, and hard erased the edges to make them jagged/fire-like.
