yeah, our indoor league was held in a sports center that also did indoor roller hockey and indoor soccer (i think we used the indoor soccer field).
nah, i didn't really play other positions before goalie. when i first started learning the sport, i was more inclined to try defense, but the summer camp didn't have any goalies, so i volunteered. i don't think i was really good enough at running to try any other positions.

Yeah I'm awful at running, I didn't even think about trying goalie till one of ours went out of town and they needed another, so I thought, "what the heck why not?" and I was actually pretty good at it, after we had a goalie come in and work with us for a bit I feel ten times better about my posistion, especially because I'm a freshman and I'm gonna be vague this fall season, stupid band XD I might quit next year but it all depends on this year

aww, well, i really loved playing lacrosse when i was in high school. unfortunately, due to scheduling, i haven't been able to play since. but i also know that how much you enjoy playing is also directly affected by your teammates, and i think i got lucky with that at my school.
and it definitely takes a whole different mindset to play goalie, and you've gotta be able to communicate well (though i guess all players should be able to communicate well to play effectively as a team), but in my biased opinion, i'd say playing lacrosse is definitely worth your time and i'd encourage you to keep it up.

Yes goalies do need to communicate... which is probably the only thing I'm good at... XD I have the 8 hotspots and stuff but today...
I was awful XD right now I'm in marching band so I don't have much time to practice but all I need to do is step to the ball, thats my only problem
I really hope to become a college lacrosse coach when I get older, or highschool, either way I really want to be involved in it when I'm older even if that means not playing on a solid team, though there are probably womens leauges out there somewhere

I like the stick best. For some reason. I think because of the perspective.

Sure. That is, if I don't get lazy and realize that I hate sports.

Pretty sick. I'm a girls goalie too, and I've got a flamboyant purple bruise the size of a softball on my upper left arm right now.
I love it!

Yeah, we are pretty targets aren't we? Actually, it's just indoor clinics. I wish we had indoor leagues like the guys do. But, it's cool. It's a regular sized goal on tiny turf fields indoors. It's pretty cool, but I hate when people try to get in my crease from behind, because of the lack of space, the back of the goal/crease and behind the goal are the same area. Some girl basically checked me until I was standing in the back of the goal on the net until I yelled at her to 'GET THE HELL OUT OF MY CREASE!'
Needless to say, she backed off. XD

ha ha. yeah, people don't seem to pay much attention to the crease. and this year, there are new rules that attack players' sticks are allowed to follow through into the crease on shots... which really sucks. cause then some of them then decided that that meant they were allowed to have their sticks in the crease whenever they wanted. so many people have tried to check my stick when i'm in the crease and i'm just like, "get out of my bubble!" ha ha... but yeah, the indoor league crease doesn't really exist behind the goal either... 'tis quite annoying.

oh, um, i dunno. i thought it was everywhere... i don't see why they'd have a separate set of rules for north carolina... umm... so you hadn't heard about this new rule...?

umm, excuse me, lack of protective equipment?! ha ha, helmet, mouthguard, throat guard, padded gloves, chest protector, padded shorts, and the evil shin guards... evil evil evil. ha ha, you should probably play guys' lacrosse... ha ha ha... you can whack people that way... lol. cause i think you'd get a yellow card if you tried that in girls' lacrosse...

"Bullet-proof vests." They don't stop you from getting bruises and such from bullets, and they sure don't guarantee you from being shot up. Especially if you put them on incorrectly.

ha ha ha. anyways, the shin guards are evil. cause, my freshman year, we didn't have to wear them, but then this last year they became required... and i hear they're not required in college level lacrosse...
