Thanks! I wanted there to be a chill atmosphere since the actual story behind it is pretty dramatic. It give it nice contrast i think.

Well this particular story takes place after the funural of one of their best friends/family members brings them back in contact after a hundred or so years( they are vampires). The story is about both of them reuniting, coming to terms with their friends murder along with battling for justice against the government for their peoples mistreatment in a world that hates and is trying to wipe out the vampiric race. It's interesting because both of these characters spent time fighting as activists for their rights as black americans from the civil war to the civil rights movement all the way up to current events with the black lives matters movement and what not. (they even spent some time with lgbt rights and religious tolerance but not as much as the other three) So their are parallels that effect the past and preasent as they move forward with their fight for justice. I havn't written all of it yet but i hope to start it sooner or later
