Description
On the morning of feb 19th my friend Dude was found dead by his father in his bed from a heroin overdose. He was our good friend who touched the wrong substance and it took his life. This substance took his life so quickly, so unexpectedly. Its scary how powerful that shit is. What is even scarrier is that there are substances that are perscribed over the counter that are stronger than heroin.Careful what you fuck around with, for it may end your life as well.
One day we will all be reunited

Yeah the coloring job is so so on this piece, for sure it could use more color. But I've moved on from it, onto more and new exciting work. I'll balance the colors better next time. Thank you for the suggestion.

Dude, this is a nutter piece of psychedelicy artwork! Then I read the description. I don't know you or your friend so this means nothing but i extend my condolences.
Better not wish things out of existence (pointless) as all that ever will be already is and was. Really it's a matter of control and balance, like everything else.
Heroin isn't evil, neither are drug pushers really as they're manipulated also. I'd say the whole situation is exploited by corrupt, drug-money-funded politicians creating addicts to keep the money machine rolling, the hate machine going and a nice big scapegoat to blame for our problems. "Those no-good junkies and drug-dealers".. not to mention the bigwig up top for sourcing it in the first place

People who deal drugs for a living are really screwed up, they want money and don't care about the consequences.

Not all drugs are equal. Some deal just to use drugs, some deal for money. But for those who deal death, they can go fuck them selves.
I've got no problem with people who deal herb, or psychedelics for that matter.
The decision to use drugs is always yours, not the drug dealers, and sometimes when you play, you gotta pay and some pay with their lives.

Yep, I agree. Loads of people at school smoke weed, and I'm not too worried for their health - our government are thinking of legalising it anyway. But heroin I really don't like.

I think were a little ways from legalization, because the government makes too much money busting people for pot. The police task force bring in so much money, and they spend so much money putting people in jail for pot, that it doesnt look to be as profitable as taxing the shit out of pot and selling it commercially. But i think in the near future sometime, the laws will be less brutal, and people wont have to loose their freedom because of a plant. Ill smoke it whether its legal or not, it wont look as appealing to me when its legal anyway haha

amazing art! it may not be fully cathartic, but i have found that art helps to entertain the mind away from some overpowering emotions that are otherwise hard to reconcile. i am sorry to hear about your loss, but glad to see that it seem to be dealing with it well. stay strong!
