Description I just recently admitted I like Envy after so long saying I hate him.
I guess I felt there was no reason to like him. In fact I had every reason to hate him! He's done something bad to all my favorite characters:
1) He picks on Wrath
2) He shot Hughes
3) He stabbed Ed
... What the hell, Envy!
But regardless, now I know... he's one of my favorite characters from FMA. I think that his story is really sad, because all his anger came from the hurt he felt when his father abandoned him. Beneath that violent, cruel behavior is a child that just wanted his father to love him.
This has begun to sound like a psychiatry session...
Me: So your father brought you back from the dead, just to leave you for another family... And how did that make you feel?
Envy: ... *beats me with my own clipboard*

As an Envy cosplayer, the Envy in my head is being _very_ vocal. Lol Case in point-

Envy: >.< Fraaaaaa..... What the hell is it with people figuring out my issues?! I'm supposed to be an evil manipulative bastard that rejoices in making other people suffer- and here you are _sympathizing_ with me! You drag up everything about my past that I'd rather forget and then you _sympathize_ with me?! It's not freaking fair damn it! How am I supposed to get people to run away from me, _screaming_ in terror, when people like you are dragging up every crap-tastic thing that happened to me so that people sympathize with me and want to hug me?! *overdramatic* You're _ruining_ my reputation!!!

Why are you lost? Because you haven't seen much of the show? **SPOILERS ARE TO FOLLOW** Well this guy/girl/whatever is a homunculus and is the half brother of the main characters (this isn't discovered till the end of the series). He hates his father because he chose his other sons (the main characters) over him. In the show, he's a very viscious, crazy pycho bitch, so here I drew him less angry and more hurt, because, hey, a lot of anger is created to cover up hurt feelings. (the show isn't that simple and there's a lot more stuff involved but I'm not going to get into that. If you want to find out about it you should watch the show! ^^ I have the first 4 episodes on DVD!)
