It actually wasn't boredom! I am really interested in Pareidolia, Because of this some family and friends send me images of IRL examples they find and on the off occasion I like to draw them.

Wow! I was vaguely aware of that phenom looking at everyday mundane objects, but I didn't know it had a name. The average person doesn't notice such things. or focus too much on them because of some other pressing priorities or agenda. Perceiving such things everywhere you look is probably a sign of artistic creativity.
It reminds me of when I went camping and sitting around the campfire after dark, when staring at the wooded area by the fire light. The mind can play all sorts of tricks with firelight and shadows. It can get pretty spooky.

Things like this is so interesting!
Human brains have evolved to identify faces and body shapes way too efficiently so when there are particular arrangement of objects or patterns it sets this natural reaction.
This is why so many people are scared of piles of clothes in the dark. It is this natural reaction going into overdrive.
