Oh- I'm almost halfway through chapter one of KAISER.
I'm thinking of uploading the first half of the chapter soon, since waiting till I had it completely done would be a waste of time.

Oh, I'm considering uploding two pages at a time too. Because some of my friends are annoyed with my pausing the story at the most interesting moment every time
but while outlining and colouring don't need much concentration, the sketching does. So I mostly sketch pages on weekends when I don't have to go to uni. But my weekends may be busy too sometimes and I'm not sure I will always have time to sketch two pages
Of, course! Any colouring is better than just black and white drawings! For sure, there's nothing you can't express with just black and white but colours always add some liveliness.
I think your colouring could be quite good, if you practiced it more often

That's a good idea!
You can also try to colour some little deatails on every page, like characters' eyes or specific markings. It not only creates a nice effect but is also good for character distinction

But, for now, I think I'll stick with coloring the dramatic pages. I'll probably color some of the (special) effects and/or characters later in the comic.

Some effects can be complicated though.
For example, I recently tried to draw Kay at night with fire around. The tricky thing was that the fire made a yellow glow effect but Kay's pelt is already yellow!
It turned out quite good in the end though

Indeed, it does look good.
However, I would have shaded the parts of her that aren't facing the fire in pencil first.... and then have gone over them with color. This would have created a nice glow effect, and add more depth to the scene.
But, nevertheless, it does look impressive.
