Thanks for sharing. I have been looking for something to help with landscapes in colored pencils. This at least shows me a bit. Do you have any suggestions for drawing leaves?

Sure. Of course it depends on the size of the tree you are drawing. If you are drawing a tree in the background I find it is easiest to use a stippling effect. If your leaves are more defined, say in the middle ground, try drawing small triangles on top of your branches and shadows. You can get colors opaque over event the darkest tones, but experiment first Add more triangles to get the leaves the shape you want. In the foreground you will probably be drawing very detailed shapes including the veins so have good photo reference and break down the shapes. Hope this helps!
