Second time i'm trying semi realistic drawing! I did it one year ago, but i dunno, sometimes,it's good to do it again !
i'm really bad at this kind of drawing, but i had so much fun
i always dreamed about drawing my Ice prince as a badass and handsome guy . so i had to draw him more "humanish" at least one time !
In this portrait, I wanted to draw him as an arrogant and pretentious prince. but he looks like more creepy and kinda scary...
i'm really not used to draw semi realistic portrait.. if you have any critiques, feel free to tell me, and i'll keep in mind for the next one!

Dude, this is really fabulous. You're getting better at this.
For critique...
Try showing the side of the forehead by making it a bit darker, otherwise it'd look a bit flat.
And the chin and mouth area could be shown as two separate parts even more.
Like... making the shaded area between the lips "sharper" and less blurry.

I'm still really new at this then i'm really clumsy and do sooo many mistakes! However, thank you again for have pointed out these mistakes!

hlkgdbs Sisi tu peux le faire. Ce que je fais c'est foireux. En plus,c'est pas du TOUT mon style e semi realiste . Alors si j'y arrive, t'es bien obligé d'y passer un jour toi aussi!et jsuis sure que ça va gerer! essaye! ça fait bien travailler en tout cas!

Ah, j'aime beaucoup !! *-* Je sais pas trop pourquoi, mais je trouve que ta technique de colo va super bien avec le style semi-réaliste, c'est un joli mélange ! ^^
La posture en elle-même est intéressante, le perso est bien fait, et plus que tout, j'adooore les couleurs avec lesquelles tu as travaillé !

I was going to write a critique but I've never made one before so I don't think it'll come out right. OTL
The shading technique is good though maybe a little too strong around the eyes and eyelids. The color contrast of the teal-ish blue and light yellow are great and draw in peoples' interesting--which is always a great thing. However, the part of the fringe above the center of the nose may be at too sharp of an angle to look realistic. The diamond-like gems on the crown are a nice color but the ones on either side closest to the back may need to be darkened a little to add depth and make the crown appear circular. The left arm (left for viewer, right for character) is thin and look slightly awkward.
I really like the coloring technique and the shades you've used through out this piece and overall this is definitely something you should be proud of. ^^ I hope my comment has been helpful. Good job.

you're totally right for everything!Mostly for theshading too strong around the eyes and eyelids. //sigh// i'm not used to do that ;n;
arg, i should have work more on the littles gems on the crown and his left arm too..i'm more a cartoon drawer, i draw my character with really thin arm.. ;n;

You're usually a cartoon artist!? This looks like you've been focusing on semi-realism for your whole artistic career, wow! *o* That's really cool. I like cartoon-style as much as semi-realism so I'm really impressed that you do both so well. ;w;
