From the moment Weiss met Shard in the White Palace, he instantly grew protective him and tried to help his younger brother in whatever way he could. That fierce urge to defend his sibling lived on even when Weiss became a Shade after an accident during a practice duel. He knew Shard would do anything to restore him, so sat and waited patiently until he was fully revived. Also, there's always been a height difference between Weiss and Shard, Weiss has always been the taller one out of the two and this picture just exaggerates that point.Enjoy c:
