quick sketch with some digital-ness.I like drawing god tier hoods.
Drawn from memory. I think the shirt's actually long sleeved? I felt like drawing short sleeve.

Minimal yet nice; God-Tier John looks very vibrant & dynamic here with the movements of his hood, shirt & pose!
While I would have loved me some graceful folds & behaviour of the uniform, the removal of such adds a screen-print flavour to the colours and makes contrast b/w the flat layers & subtle monochromatism (Gradating hair texture & ivory skin) all the more impressive. Also the hands here aren't bad so don't worry!

Yeah, I kinda wanted to do the same and go all out with dynamic clothes and stuff but it wasn't what I had in mind when I began sketching and it just came out nice and simple and I decided I liked it that way.

Fair enough. Guess minimalism helps more sometimes~ (Although I really suck at minimal b/c I tend to cram every detail & movement into my artworks XD)

I'm sure you can... you already have an excellent hand with depth & rich gradations texturing within crisp forms. (I mean your "Vriska piece" & "IDEK"... asdfghkh)

No No I'm still a n00b in design; still tend to end up directly copying parts of other, better stuff for mines'. One needs to research a LOT when planning to attempt "design"...
