Synopsis:
Aging telepath Evil Overlord Xander has traded his youthful dream of joining the US military and using his superpowers to benefit humanity for over-the-hill cynicism, self-imposed exile on his private zoo-for-crazy-people Eynhallow Island, and a serious case of May-December midlife crisis. And technically it's only kidnapping if she tries to leave.

Actually trying to shoot Kore would be a very bad idea. A one-way trip to Jupiter, if you will.
After all, untrained psychic seems fairly dangerous already and the other, more seasons psychic on the island is rather invested in Kore staying around.

they don't know for sure about Kore yet. and their reliance on guns v. telepathy in any case says more about their psychology than their strategic planning abilities. but then again maybe the truly haven't had enough exposure to Xander to realize what he can do. or just don't want to believe it.
