I wanted to draw MC since I haven't in months, except for doodles on notes and homework. Lord of the Rings is nearly impossible to watch without it seeping into your stream of creativity, however, and before long she became an elf.I didn't realize how much of SH in inspired by LotR until we watched those movies in Mythology class!
Oh yeah. Comment with your opinion, your level of adoration of Frodo, or just with a random thought, and I'll give you a cookie. C:

How is LOTR inspiration for SH? The only thing I can see in connection is- since you said it was for mythology class- the whole theory of Joseph Campbell and "The Hero of 1000 Faces". Which is a recurring theme in just about every medium ever.

Well, one of the instances was (in my mind, mind you. I have no idea if I'm right or not) Fire and Ice, when the Zeroes and Aerrow, Finn, Radarr and Junko got stuck on the outcropping of rock and were surrounded by lava. That resembeled that scene in the final LOTR movie.
Then there was Forbidden City, where Aerrow spoke to the oracle. The vision she showed him of a bleak future with all of the Hawks shakled together was a lot like the one the oracle showed Frodo.
There were a few others, but I don't really remember them all.

Yeah, the bleak vision thing threw me off. I'd forgotten about that... And if you think about it, if I were to describe SH I think "Star Wars meets LOTR meets Reboot" is a good description!

WOW, I have a big opinion of SH, don't I? XD Well all those things minus the epicness, in all honesty Storm Hawks never lived up to its full potential
