Simple idea, complex art style, amazing piece of work! When I saw this, I immediately thought of Dead Space 3 with the E.V.A. Suit. Any chance you would do a draw over with Isaac in that suit?

This would be another cool one for you to do as a layered, LED lit, one.
You can even do do fiber optics to the stars and have the cluster of fibers lit with a rotating striped pinwheel and LED light to simulate the sparkles.
Just a thought.

It might take a little bit of electrical work but what I was describing is possible with a color wheel like this:

attached to a small motor. The wheel would between the LED light and the fiber bundle. This is an old school method but is probably simplier and more dynamic some kit utilizing IC chip. You could probably power it off a pair for AA batteries for some time.
If you are interested... I can see what I can find for kits or parts/pieces to make it work.
