Missouri’s flag was so close to being good, but then they had to go and ruin it by slapping the entire state seal on there.
This one is quite similar to my Delaware redesign . I kept most of the flag intact, but got rid of all the overly detailed stuff and instead focused on the aspects that made the design unique. As such I replaced the seal with its most prominent elements: A crescent moon and a bear. Since everything was taken from the original flag and just shuffled around a bit, I won’t bother explaining the symbolism this time.
I also made the bear face the other way, because heraldry.
