i love them together as well but i agree with u they're closness will be shattered since elena is now a vampire and she'll definately have to really choose carefully

I've seen pictures from an interview with Paul Wesley who said that Elena may rethink her choice about choosing Stefan over Damon - So who knows? aha. Can't wait for the scenes where she remembers what Damon compelled her to forget....
