Description Mixed media on a 1'x1' canvas--acrylic, cardboard, wire, tracing paper, mod podge, glue, burnt matches, and clock hands purchased at my local craft store.

These strange, fragile birds made of paper and wire are very rarely seen, but have been known to congregate around young lovers, old friends, and people enjoying themselves and steal away the hands of time, suspending its passing and preserving the moment. This rare specimen was captured during a young woman's discovery of a wonderful and deeply moving poem.

...Sorry about the clumsy picture taking. I fail.

This is great and very creative. The bird came out nice while the matchsticks were a wonderful touch.
