I get lost easily, and often, so I was very excited to get a GPS for Christmas...except that I am also good at losing things, and at breaking electronics. Panic set in. I should leave my GPS at home, unless I am planning to deviate from my usual route! ...except deviations are often spur of the moment. I should carry my GPS in my bag, lest it be stolen from my car! ...except in my bag, it would be pummeled to death by books. What's a crafty and easily disoriented girl to do?

Why, make a GPS case, to protect my mechanical pathfinder! And what should such a case look like?
Well, as I am a crafty, geeky girl, there was really only one option...

My TARDIS GPS case is made of wool felt (which I had to dye myself, thanks to the lack of blue wool felt in my local craft stores), sewn completely by hand, and the construction was 100% by the seat of my pants--completely made it up as I went along, so I'm quite pleased with the result! I would like to re-do the embroidery on the Police Box sign...and maybe someday I'll get around to it
