Description Desire was created by Neil Gaiman and Mike Dringenberg, and he/she belongs to DC Comics.

Ultra-fine Sharpie on bristol board.

Ages and ages ago, my sister told me (not asked--she's not the asking type) that she wanted black and white drawings of the Endless from Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I said 'uh-huh' and moved on with my life. A week ago, however, I was getting overwhelmed at the Publishing Institute and really needed to do something to change gears, and suddenly all I wanted to do was draw the Endless.

So I did.

And here they are.

So gorgeous
I'm a huge fan of androgyny, so Desire is pretty much my favorite character from that seires.

Ooh, I like the bat-ish mask.
The costume kinda reminds me of one of David Bowie's more strange costumes, except he would have worn tall boots. It's cool!

Thanks! I had a really hard time choosing a pose/costume for Desire (I'm still debating adding fishnets), but Lockstock was perfect (because she's always perfect).
