A quick pencil sketch ('quick' for me is about two hours, because I tend to draw while watching TV--in this case it was Doctor Who on my laptop) on watercolor paper, because I thought that I was going to paint it before I changed my mind....References:

Thank you! This was lots of fun to do (and I definitely have a thing for giant flying fish things--fish to me always look either sinister or bewildered anyway, so it seems natural to take them out of context).
