Name: William "Will" Sharp
Age: 19

Hometown/Region: Pallet Town, Kanto
Military Faction: Navy
Extra items: Important photos, Flashlight, string (not shown), and a knife kept in a sheath on the back of his belt.

Personality:
Will first appears to most people as quiet and possibly even shy, but beneath that outer layer lies a boy full of care and determination. He dislikes leaving work undone equally as much as disappointing the people around him. Once you get to know him, he's quite a nice guy.

Whenever he can, he enjoys trying to build little useful things with the materials around him, a hobby that began back on the farm.
It should also be mentioned that he can have a bit of a bad memory at times, and he'll purposely try to avoid anything with a significant amount of alcohol in it. He much rather just drink coffee instead. (First time he had an alcoholic beverage, his face turned red and he passed out.. He'd rather not talk about it and pretty much tries to keep it secret)

Backstory:
The Sharp family have owned a farm in Pallet for several generations, a farm that not only provided vegetables, but also goods such as eggs and milk proved by their "monsters". The farm is currently home to a single tauros, some miltank miltank and several fat pidgey.

William's father had participated in the previous war and has now retired from the military, continuing his life on the farm with is wife and four children (3 boys and a girl).
Will's childhood was that of any other countryside boy, doing his chores and helping around the farm. His favourite task growing up was spreading grain for the pidgey. As he aged, naturally he was tasked with the harder work (for example: harnessing a tauros to plow the field, and rising at dawn to milk the miltank).

When the new war had began, Will felt like it was his duty as a Kanto native to join and protect his family. The fact that pokemon were to be used in battle was pretty much just a perk. With his small bag packed, he said goodbye to his aged parents and his younger sibling. He chose to join the Navy because Pallet was connected to the sea, a reminder of home.

It was shortly after that that he had a little monster of his own.

Pokemon:

Torpedo | Wingull | Bold | Keen Eye |Female*
Pokemon bio / personality:
This small bird, though stubborn as a boldore at times, has become attached to her master. She has a small pouch made for her (by Will of course) to be able to transport messages and small goods.
(*5/18/12- Torpedo is officially female. She had originally been mis-identified by the research team, a mistake now corrected.)

Mast | Swanna | Calm | Keen Eye |Male
Pokemon bio / personality:
Mast is an eerily calm bird. It has only been seen aggressive a couple of times since it was caught. Those times all involved a direct threat to the bird, or something it cared about (like food). It is quite fond of the little water bird, and curious about the human boy it now has as flock leader.

Hull | Golett | Quiet | Iron Fist | Genderless (It or He)
Pokemon bio / personality:
After a request for something 'sturdy', Will was handed this creature that was similar to Kanto's own Golems, yet different. Although startled at first by sudden human presence after being 'wild' for so long, Hull was more than pleased to be aiding humans in protecting other humans. Hull does not like being bird perch though. Removing bird with special powers isn't working. Bird always comes back.

Keel | Raticate | Naughty | Guts | Female
Pokemon bio / personality:
Keel was bred and raised within the Kanto military. Her first master was killed in Undella and she has since been redistributed to Will. Keel loves to fight, and would rather tear your throat out than get a hug from you. The end of her tail was lost as a rattata and she seems to have injured her her head during Undella (perhaps she skull bashed a Voltorb or something.. lol). She appears to also have a bit of a mischievous side away from the battlefield.

I had been unsure about joining this OCT.. but my combined love for history and pokemon pushed me over the edge. I present to you Mr. William Sharp, ancestor to a trainer character that I have yet to show the internet. |D
