How did you get the crumpled/ruffled up effect? Or did you actually draw it on a piece of paper? If you did however, then I must say you have a pretty damn good scanner!

The base drawing was drawn on paper, and inked with a pen. I scanned it into Photoshop high-rez, cleaned up the lines so they became solid black fairly sharp, and then add the color on layers. (During this stage, what little of the original paper texture that survived the scan gets eliminated)
The "crumple" effect is a paper texture from the great collection at cgtextures.com (a site that is worth a bookmark for any digital artist or designer!) I using layers and blending modes in Photoshop to get the look I wanted.
