I'm saying it either ripped off another story, or the original Smiling Girl story had its name changed. I'm not sure because I can't remember who the author of the original Smiling Girl Creepypasta was.

There was a lot of strange imagery in the story. I choice to draw the part where the main character sees some kind of monster at his door.

Not really. He said it was dark and smiling maybe I should of made it more obvious that the monster is smiling maybe.
