Ike at Marineland, summer of '07
Posted for because she's been really wonderful, posting lots of pictures of the belugas at Sea World!
UPDATE: This has popped up on several different websites without my permission. I've resubmitted, with new watermarks. I hate it when people take credit for things that do not belong to them!!!

I'm sorry about the watermark, especially because I know that you would never do anything wrong, but I have had many of my orca photos stolen, and just can't make myself take the chance. I know of several deviants that post photos that are not their own, and have reported them many times... so it sucks, but I've been burned before... I would like to design my own watermark, and use it... something less distracting, and more tasteful, but haven't gotten around to it...

Thank you, it was pretty amazing. It's not often that the underwater viewing is empty, so it was a unique experience. I think he was copying Athena though, because when she was very small, I'd stick out my tongue at her and she'd copy me, and every time I'd go underwater to see her (even after a year) she'd come right over and stick out her tongue... that really touched me, the fact that she remembered me, and the game we'd played together... maybe Ike was jealous

Wow, what a cute story. You're very lucky that she did this the next time you saw her! Orcas are magnificent animals and always bring a smile to my face when I read/hear such stories! Ike is always jealous because Athena is the baby and he just the big boy next to her
