I've searched all over and have found glow wallpapers of everypony but this guy right here. So I decided to start one myself. 6 hours and many notes to later, I am finished. I love the DNA style double helix for Discord because of all the different animals he is made of. If anybody sees something wrong, tell me so I can fix it. I need to adjust the curves on the helix at some point.Made using Adobe Photoshop CS5

I love this. The ONLY thing I think does ill for this is the giant glow of the DH. I'd recommend keeping it to a glow like you did with Discord: nice and confined.
Not gonna lie, I've seen a few wallpapers like this, with Discord and while it may not be DNA-influenced, there was still a double helix thingy. I'd have to take off a few points for Originality there.
Honestly, I'm a sucker for simple wallpapers. While flashy ones with a lot of effects are cool, I personally gravitate towards simple ones like this. I mean, I don't want my icons obstructing the whole thing, right?
If I wasn't already using a wallpaper I made Sunday, I'd totally use this! Keep up the good work, hope to see some more from you in the future.

Thanks for the critique, I've been waiting for one from somebody before i start on for Daring-Do. I actually have a version without the DH and one with less glow, so maybe i'll upload it to my scraps...

Try it with a more confined glow like with Discord. I can see what you were trying to go for with mimicking Hobbes' style, but I'm guessing you used the helix as a base for the blur, when you should have just made it separately without the helix as a base. (If that makes sense, I've never been one for technical terms and explaining things xD)

It's almost perfect!It's just missing something. Maybe if you made each of the DNA glow lines a different color rather than red It would look cooler.

Also, something you could do: State what programs you use and such. You don't really have to, but it's generally pretty interesting (At least to a fellow artist like me) to see what you use!

I always give credit to the artist who's vector I'm using. While I've just started vectoring, and while I don't care if people credit me or not, (as I've stated on my one Pinkie Pie vector) I prefer if people do.

I love this wallpaper! I may just use it as my desktop.
My only constructive criticism would be the line down the middle of his foot. In the show, I'm pretty sure he never had that detal.

Thanks, I'm glad this is getting as much attention as it has. I'd love for people to use it as their desktop. Also, I have normally seen that line, its just hard to notice because his hoof is so dark (it doesn't glow well, so I brightened it up a little)

Odd. I double-checked every scene with him in the episodes and never saw it; so it's not that the shade of brown was ever too dark.
