I love how detailed this is! You have such eye and patience in your work, i truly admire and envy you ! Her hair, horns and the lambs especially look very nice and focused on!Β Β

This is so gorgeous! I love all the extra little touches you added. Β Just amazing! Β Those little lambs are are so pretty! Β The easter symbols are skillfully presented, I just love the maypole! Β  If I had tried to glue things on my pictures it would have looked tacky, you have such a knack for this! Β It is expertly done and I am duly impressed!!

I'm so glad you liek the maypole originally I hadn't planed on putting it in
but than the book I read inpsired my to but it in since it was not only a
easter spirit also a spring one.

You've put butterflies on her hair nice touch as is the glint of moonlight on the butterflies around her turned into a moonlit scene looking at the wip i thought it was gonna be a day one,the face and the arrangment of the flowing hair is cool as is the hands

I wanted to have a twilight scene..at the moment you can see the moon in daylight too
that's why everything is so light and it's not really night even I did draw the moon that way
sadly my shading skills are well not good enought to get that feeling right...oh her arms are to short

Well I did read about her in a book and on wikipedia...they are a bit
unsure if she really was woreshipped but it said she is a norse goddes of spring
and easter. I sadly don't kno much about her myself. Only she is linked to spring and
natuer and the reborn of it.

That's interesting and it shows how much has passed into history in Europe in the last few thousand years. She would have been very important to the Norsemen over 1000 years ago and probably known in Ireland in places like Dublin where the Vikings settled
