My muses appear to like this style currently... this will lead to the death of my inking pens, oh wells .Random dragon in flight, might do a few more of these or something similar. I feel like doing more dragons, flying ones...

small correction..muses* I think I decided awhile ago that I have several muses, not sure on the exact number...This of course leads to squabbles on who gets to influence me and thus..artistic block/unfinished projects and all that stuff as I get distracted by a new idea from a different muse XD.
There is a dragon muse of course, my insane mlp/cute muse, evil/morbid muse maybe separate I dunno... and one for drawing my humanoid characters I guess. Probably one for non-fantasy drawings too. That is a basic list...also I have known people who inspire me so they like temporary muses?

The pens' death will be honorable! Fantastic shading work--I love the texture on the wings. Do you do any adjustments once it's scanned, or leave it alone? I'd love to see the dragon pop out a little more, add some contrast from the background. It doesn't really matter though, those scales look brilliant as they are!

This is a slightly edited version, made it a touch 'brown' and added in some brighter highlights. The link is to an image which is more like the original, the photo was a bit whitewash? so I tend to edit them back to what the original looks like at least.
I think I trying to get better at contrast, and such these dragons end up as the result.
