Description
The abomination stood before the man, gruesome shreds of flesh that covered parts of framed skeleton. Its bones were dark gray and hard to see against the moonless backdrop, while the unmistakable stench of death overwhelmed the atmosphere.

"Please, no..." the man begged in a mere whisper.

The creature seemed to acknowledge the man's statement, and immediately thrust a blade of malice through his chest. As the man lay on the ground, his last few breaths could barely discern the creature evaporate into the air, passing back into the realm of souls.
