Description The secrets you shared when I was scouring the mountain peak...I will not forget the endless wonder of which you spoke, even though I did not find what I was searching for.

Apo + Chaotica

The mountain looks like it fused with the ocean towards the bottom

this piece goes pretty well with a song I'm listening to right now, it's called 'Shooting Star'. But eggcelent work as always.

I didn't have to read the description and the amazing fractal already surprised me with fantastic mountain landscape with dreamy, starry sky Again, congrats on this breath-taking piece of fractal art!

Thank you!  I find it fun to work on this type of artwork, even if the coloring and structure is something I spend far too much time working on XD

spectacular! Very inspirational

Which Apophysis versions do you think are best to use these days

ChaosFissure In reply to FunkyRach [2016-07-21 20:04:29 +0000 UTC]

Depends on what you're using Apophysis for.  I think it's typically 15b for 32-bit Apophysis, but I personally use a 64bit variant of version 16 because it's faster with my own workflow than 32bit apo, and I end up rendering in Chaotica ultimately anyway.

Thanks. i use or trying to use Apophysis to make interesting fractals/graphics on a 32bit machine. I will try and find a download to 15b sine i have 2 recommendations for it

Thanks!  As energy in my artwork goes, it's unusually quiet and cold - but that's not a bad thing, since I like using  super energetic fire everywhere most of the time XD

aaah probably my favorite so far {from when i watched you, of course}
i love it

I'm glad you like this  Personally, like this, but it's far from my favorites; I think I'm in a transition period where I'm trying to understand what I want to do again, especially as I have a lot more techniques I can employ in my artwork now.  Maybe I should go slightly more abstract and see what that allows me to accomplish again

do what you feel is best
art is expression, and what you feel transfers into that
whoops i went deep again XD

ChaosFissure In reply to IsillianWolf [2016-07-21 21:52:02 +0000 UTC]

It's not deep, but more like a fact XD  The emotion in my head definitely shapes the artwork I create!

indeed
my painting {or attempts at painting} go the same way
the colors are very expressive

super dark and moody but I like the atmosphere, it feels really powerful

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ChaosFissure In reply to CaptainElsa [2016-07-21 19:42:04 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!  It is rather dark, like something on a dark moonlit night on some weird mountain XD  The color range/saturation/vibrance of this fractal (and related ones I've uploaded / will upload) is unusually limited, which makes it seem moody.

CaptainElsa In reply to ChaosFissure [2016-07-21 20:11:30 +0000 UTC]

yeah! it does seem like a weird mountain or dark and stormy ocean waves
