Thanks so much Ruth. The two posts on the right are actually what's left of a couple of palm trees. For some reason the beaches have really shifted location this year even though we didn't have any hurricanes. I was really aiming for a balance of smooth water without losing the texture and detail in the clouds. I knew things were moving too fast for a long shutter speed so I tried my luck with HDR instead and I think it worked.

Thanks Rebecca. I took it with and without but thought this had more interest when all was said and done. Without the trees definitely has more of a feel of depth to it but not much else.
