Description Reliving more pieces of my childhood with this piece. Dunno if you guys remember the old TigerSharks cartoon (1987), but it was a short lived, yet somehow still memorable, creation of Rankin/Bass (The same people that brought us ThunderCats and SilverHawks).

Did these and a few others for as a throwback and reinterpretation of the characters a bit more "up to date" on the looks. 'Twas cool to reference and re-watch some of the old show for research! [left to right] Mako, Octavia, and Dolph.

Thanks I did Lorca as well for this commission, but we did our own version of the character different from the show version, so the client requested not to post him for various reasons involving nondisclosure. I didn't however do Gupp..maybe I'll do a pic just of him..well see.

If you watch the old show again you'll see that Dolph was short but always pretty buff. Hah, the animators often times gave him some crazy "off looking" anatomy..but I guess it's part of the charm now.
