Wow! I love this art style! You did such a fantastic job with it, too! I love the swirling of Ruffnut's hair and the Viking knotwork style border of the Zippleback. Something about it reminds of the classic "Salome" illustration that is also Art Noveau, I believe.
Thanks also for the explanation. I know the style but not its origin. My biggest experience of it is the Norwegian town of Alesund in the fjord region. The town's buildings were destroyed in a fire, so the entire town was rebuilt in the early 1900s in Art Noveau style.
