Hal, Aoi and Starla as tiny squidds. I love my ugly adorable children.-In kindergarten Aoi was the tallest in the group while Hal was the smallest. (now Hal is taller than Aoi by a really tiny bit, while Starla is taller than the both of them)
-Hal used to a very nervous boy who would only talk to a select few people in kindergarten, these 2 and the teachers.
These 3 don't become a team for turfwar;
-Starla preferred doing sports and became part of the main basketball team for her city and went travelling to compete but she did come back occasionally to play with Aoi (until Cole became the official 4th member of the team).
-Hal and Aoi ended up both being leader of their own team. This was because at one point Hal was made to move away to another city and he was separated from Aoi and when he was old enough to playing turfwar he made up a team with squids in the local area. one day he and his team move to the same city Aoi was in (The team were interested in the turfwar competitions that were held there, Hal just wanted to see Aoi again) and they have a (mostly) friendly rivalry.
