I've done it on computer before and the line looks TOO perfect, so I traced it all again on paper and scanned it and it looked just right.
If you look very close, manual techniques always carry a small amount of imperfections, these can't be seen until you zoom on in a lot at times but make a difference.
A lot is down to personal preference, of course.
