From earlier, Mason met Misha around the recreational area. There's a small talk before They are friends(?). Misha hopes that the Facility will cure her and sends her back home. While Mason, uses her innocent to make her trust him and do what he tell. Also, he'll have the one who will be on his side if anthing happened. Right then, Mason learnt to not give up a hope from Misha. He may be think that she owed him for this so his body moves to save her.
