I think it's called synaesthesia or something? Where you mix the senses up... I think you've done that quite well with the use of "deaf lips" which is quite creative.

I think you've captured the atmosphere very well, anyway. The third person allows us to judge the two from a separate side, as if we were behind glass looking in...

That's how I feel, anyway.

Thank you very much. :] I was trying to do that, in a way....

Synaesthesia (or something...) is just that. It's also a name, I believe for a condition in which people associate words, colors, letter patterns, feelings, scents, and/or music with one another. I'm glad you saw that aspect of the phrase.

Thanks a lot. That is what I was going for - to me, it's a rather strong feeling and situation, and I didn't know how well I could capture it in just six words.

Thanks for the comment!

How did you get the words like that?

Haha... I actually just learned this. Pre text, type: , with the font you want inserted where the "..." is. To change fonts back, I believe you just type , substituting the name of the other font you want for the "...". If you open the "add text" button when submitting literature, it is listed amongst the possible html codes.

I do... I very much like this. And the font of the text adds another dimension. I never knew six words to hold so much they could stand by themselves.

As do I, m'love... Thank you. I'm very glad...I had rather hoped you'd like it. (And perhaps catch the reference to other works which have used the font...though I'm sure you did.) I'm very honored to hear that, coming from such a wordsmith...very.

It is surely my honor to read it.

(I did think about that...)

Thank you, my love. But it is truly mine to have you do so, and much more so for you to say such things.
