I'm not sure about awesome - it's a few years old now, but figuring out light sources and the optimal settings on the viewer has helped a lot. And I've gotten plenty of very generous and useful advice from some excellent SL photographers. As a point of reference, my graphics card hasn't changed since I starting posting pictures, but their quality has taken a rather large leap forward.

I agree, the lighting makes this look great. Especially the gloves, how well they reflect and showing the creases, they look quite lifelike
