"Secession from the attic" is a series of fifteen photographs showing porcelain dolls from the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century, an tribute to a famous part of history of Rijeka, Secession (Art Nouveau).

A series was built through two stages. First of them is my fascination with long time forgotten porcelain dolls, while second one is fascination with the beauty of Secession era in the architecture, art, fashion and everyday life. The idea was to bring the Secession to life by reviving porcelain dolls.
All photographs were taken at an authentic location, an Secession building designed in 1905 by famous Rijeka's architect, Giovanni Rubinich.
The project came to life by help of the Association "The Hauntlings", while the models are members of the same Association.
